Natural and pastel colours
Spring’s colour palette is all about soft, pale, dusty and also natural hues. Anything from different pink tones, pale blue, dusty grey will be great. All neutral, muted tones evoke simplicity and comfort. Translucent opaque hues are also back on the picture. Pastel colours create a soft look, that is feminine and are perfect for the free-spirited bohemian girl.
Combinations of various materials
There is a growing trend for less common material mixes, decorative features such as leather, cork or even flower petals, the use of mixed frame finishes ( matt with shiny effects) and strong colour contrasts or unexpected complimentary hues. Also popular are a new generation of frames in metal with wood or horn elements, leather inserts specifically on metal temples and more proposals for combining acetate and metal seamlessly. Oversized frames
All that is oversized, is a must-have for this season. While you might like tiny glasses, it is the oversized that rules the runway for the spring and summer seasons of 2016 and we expect it will continue on into the fall and winter as well.
Round shape
Round shades combined with bold patterns, animal prints, and fresh colours achieve a sense of edgy sophistication. Round frames with double bridge to hint at a futuristic look is also a style for the season. In sunglasses you may want to combine the round shape with mirrored sunlenses. Round shape fits equally well both men and women.

Aviators are transformed this season with round lenses, metal bridges, and translucent plastic frames. Aviator fits well both men and women.
Mirrored Lenses
One interesting trend seen on the runways is the reflective lenses version where those protective pieces worn seem to be almost like a mirror.
Gold & Glitter on the Frames
Gold has been appearing within the metallic versions of each trend, so we expected its appearance on the spring/ summer 2016 eyewear trends department as well.
For women only
Bold colour patterns, exaggerated cat-eye frames, circular shapes and opaque acetate round up the hottest spring trends for 2016.
Cat Eye sunglasses and eyewear is a Queen of specs for the ladies
Oversized cat-eye shades never go out of style. Always chic, cat-eye frames are exaggerated and improved this season with modern touches, embellishments, and crisp colour choices. Keyhole and partial-rim frames offer a lively conversation and make for a sensational statement piece.
You love the feminine cat eye. You love the round frames because of the hipster effect. Combining the cat and round combination into a single look is a new trend for this season.
Colourful Frames for Some Fun
The most fun a girl can have in eyewear often revolves around the colours that she decides to wear.
For men only
Inspired by global travelers and architectural elements, classic styles are improved with fresh details such as exposed hardware and dual-tone acetate frames.
Round lens aviators
Aviators are transformed this season with round lenses, metal bridges, and translucent plastic frames. This retro-futuristic style – think Mad Max meets James Dean – is perfect for the fashion forward crowd.
Browline frame
Traditional browline frames are updated with metal details, vibrant colours, textures, and architectural elements for spring. While the classic, retro 1950s shape of browlines remain the same, studded details and coloured lenses add a modern touch to a familiar look.
Square glasses
Square glasses are a must-have item for every man. It’s no surprise this timeless style has been popular with everyone from past presidents to stylish hipsters. This season, dual-tone acetate frames and keyhole accents add a sporty yet sophisticated twist to the beloved, classic square shape.
